Another Thursday
Number -16- if the thirty wise sayings of the Bible.
22Listen to your father; without him you would not exist. When your mother is old, show her your appreciation.
23Truth, wisdom, learning, and good sense—these are worth paying for, but too valuable for you to sell.
24A righteous person's parents have good reason to be happy. You can take pride in a wise child.
25Let your father and mother be proud of you; give your mother that happiness.

Refuge
Our preacher said that church is a refuge for the imperfect. Then in my bible study I came across the second reference to refuge.

Happy Tuesday
Worked at church a little, watched Tara eating her salad from Braums so came home and had a Braums Apple cranberry salad. Delish. Tried to get seat off chair and couldn't turn the screws. Sat a moment and realized there are so many little things I can't do. Really miss you baby. Love you forever and always. Took chair to Kelly and Donna's and Kelly got seat off chair. Donna came over to help me replant a pot and said you were buzzing her and then Pam text and said you really liked the person sanging on the voice. I am so blessed. Thank you, Lord.

Refuge Church
Sitting out back in the swing contemplating the evenings events as I just got home from helping serve the homeless at Refuge Church. Started with worship, offering then communion. Then ten of our youth did a great job in preparing the plates for the needy. Clothing, blankets and socks were offered also. As I sit, enjoying the cool evening, my mind ventures to the future and the fall and winter ahead. I know no names to pray for but I know my prayers for the refuge church people and Pastor Noell will be heard by God as he knows them before they even were. God love them.
Happy Monday
Proverbs 16:1. We may make our plans, but God has the last word.
I've been praying for a kidney for Chris, Lord. But I realize you are in control and I turn it all over to you. Amen
Just spoke with him and yesterday in church he had a stabbing pain at his catheter and today as he was being dialized they couldn't get it flushed. They believe it is a blood clot so he has to go back tomorrow.
Starting to set up for "Sweet Anticipation" Marketplace Bazaar which is next Saturday, the 26th. We named it that this year because we are patiently awaiting our church renovation project completion, our 125th church anniversary and the premier of our church anthem which was commissioned and I understand from choir members that it will bring you to tears.
Tonight the Outreach committee and church members are feeding the homeless at 6th street United Methodist Church across from the OKC Bombing memorial. First time for me to participate as it always falls on a Monday night and that is our family FFF night.
Remember, God loves you so much.
